THANKS for your interest in having us play for your wedding.
We are an acoustic duo or trio with multi-instrumentation -- fiddle, concertina, guitars, mandolin, and vocals. In addition, there is a very broad sweep of musical styles that we can play.
During the pre-ceremony, I feel it's important to play instrumental pieces (without words). Fortunately, there is nearly an endless number of beautiful tunes and melodies to play…from Celtic to Bluegrass to American favorites and standards. I also like to play individual tunes for each entrance of the bridal party. All this comes together in a rather magical way and it is nothing you have to plan…because it is what we do best!
Some couples like a moment in the ceremony when the officiating person directs everyone to focus their thoughts and prayers on the couple. We have some ideas for this moment, both in song and instrumental realms. Perhaps you want to consider this idea, or whatever makes you comfortable. IT IS YOUR DAY!...and it should reflect the two of you in every way possible.
The venue you have chosen for your wedding will be lovely and comfortable for your family and guests. Because we are an acoustic duo/trio, we are quite portable (inside to outside) and never too loud. Acoustic music has an intimacy that is quite special.

Our playing commitment is to provide acoustic music from your pre-ceremony hour through the ceremony and, continuously, through to your dinner hour. At that point, with a break for your dinner, your guests will be ready for your after-dinner dance celebration.
